National Summit 2011 (Part 3 - Talks)

On the 26th March 2011, we had our career talk for the school leaving kids. This career talk aims to share with them some information regarding Engineering giving them a vivid idea of What is Engineering? Several YES practicing engineers shared their precious knowledge and experiences. 

Not to forget to show our appreciation to all the junior (SAFE) for giving a hand to make the talk a success.

Below are the school leaving students from 5 different secondary school.

After the talk, the students are treated with some refreshments before they board on the bus to go back to their respective schools.

After the career talk, we proceed to attend the Women Engineering Section while the guys joining the Training of Trainees (TOT). 

Ir June Lau Y.M. shared with us her life and working experiences as well as the importance of Women Engineering Section to all the women engineers out there. So ~ who gonna start of? It remains a '?'

After the talk, we had a group photo and discussion with Ir June Lau.

The talk ends around 12:45pm, then we proceed to have our lunch before rushing for the next section.
