The Love and The Grace of God

Phil 4:6-7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be make known to God; And the peace of God, which surpasses every man's understanding, will guard your hearts and you thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Group Photos

Last Saturday we had a chance to visit Doulos. Here are some of the group photos.

Erica, Me, TM, Emerald, Jacinth and KJ.
Though we are different, we are one in Christ. I'm glad that I could blend with some of the sisters. May the Lord have mercy on us that we devote a vow in our life. To be a lover of Christ.
Things might change but I would not fear. All things work together for the good for those who love Him. I might be backslided but His hand is there.. I would clasp His hand in mine, Nor ever murmur or repine, content whatever lot I see.

I would like to end with few verses here;
1 Cor 12:23-27 And those members of the body which we consider to be less honorable ,these we clothe with more abundant honor, and our uncomely members come to have more abundant comeliness, but our comely members have no need. But God has blended the body together, giving more abundant honor to the member that lacked. That there would be no division in the body, but that the members would have the same care for one another. And whether one member suffers, all the members suffere with it; or one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with it. Now you are the Body of Christ, and members individually.

Cultural Costumes

I really hope that I would be one of them. But it could only be a dream. During the visit, we were attracted by the multi-cultural hat. Displaying here are all the hats that attracted us.
Let me introduce first a lady from Afica, by the way I didn't know what's her name. I had a great chat with her regarding her service. *Ashamed of myself of being so immatured in my life sometimes..

Herewe go, wonderful nice hat.. Cute little kids with their hats on.. Looks like little princess.

MV Doulos

Time really flees, I still remembered the very first time I visited MV Doulos was in 1999. I was so excited that time and desperately requested my dad to bring us there.

MV Doulos with its motto, "Bringing Knowledge, Help and Hope" to all the nation in the world. From what I read and know, Doulos was purchased by GBA Ship e.V. in 1977 which is a private, non-profit, charitable organisation in Germany.

Doulos sails around the world supplying vital literature resources to the world. Besides iHe enourages inter-cultural understanding and trains the young one in realising the effectiveness of life and service. As what I saw there are lots of different culture believers working together as one entity to make each trip successful. On the other hand, they promote greater global awareness for the young one to have a broader view of thier life and sharing messages of hope in God. How God had attracted them and they left everything to follow Him.

From their statistics, over 20 million visitors from different races to languages visited the floating book fair. MV Doulos has visited more than 100 countries which include Africa, the Americas, Aisa, Australia, Europe, the Middle East and many other island nations.

*From an unrealiable source, this would be His last trip due to its old age.

Thus, I graped the opportunity to visit MV Doulos once more. I just loves ships.

Here before we entered MV Doulos, we captured a photo as memory. From the left we have TM, YP, Erica, Emerald and KJ. The ship indeed look older than the one I used to visit 9 years back..

With the captain, the mascot of the ship.
And not to forget we took a photo with the flag.. showing we've been there.
